How to backup Firefox Profiles in Computer

Recently, Firefox released its all new 29 version which is a major upgrade from all older versions. From its interface to synchronization, almost everything changed. If you noticed, the old Firefox sync not working in version 29. You need to register with your credentials, sync any one of your device and Login in all other devices.

Backup Your Firefox Profiles Locally

1. Close your Firefox browser and open my computer.

2. Now, paste the below code in your location bar and copy all data from this folder.

C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxx.default

Admin is the administrator account for my machine, it can be anything else for your machine and xxxxxxxx.default is random code assigned by Firefox to each machine.

3.  Paste the data where you need to backup your Firefox profile.

4. If you need to restore your backup, open the above location location and paste with overwrite into another Firefox profile xxxxxxxx.default.

5. Its done.
