How to Access Google Drive files Directly

Google Drive is nice and reliable way to host files on cloud drive, that provide a fast access when needed, but if you noticed, while opening a Google Drive hosted file, it opens in docs. Lets see, How to directly access your files from Google Drive ?

1. Download Google Drive Public files Directly

Google Drive can be used to save any files, from archive to script. JavaScript are used to make dynamic websites, which are fetched when a website loads. So, it is needed to use direct access to that script. Google Drive uses googledrive.com domain to access scripts or even any file directly but this technique is only applicable when that file is public.

Change Google Drive files Privacy

1. Open your Google Drive account.

2. Right click on file, open share & click on share.

3. In 'Who has accesses', click on change and change it to public.

4. Change Access to 'Can view' & click on Save.

5. After it click on Done.

2. Download Google Drive private files Directly

Sometimes, you need to download files that are stored in your Drive but they are confidential, but are need to download directly, so, i find another way to download private files directly without opening it in Google Docs viewer.
