If you aware of Facebook follow button which provide facility to get public updates of anyone in your newsfeed, but there is a trick that when you Subscribe a person it is notified to him.
When you don't want to be notified to the person, that you are following him/her then, Here is the solution.
Facebook have an feature called 'Interest Lists' which can be used to see updates without following that person.
2. Now, click on drop-menu near message button above cover photo and click on add to interest lists.
3. Now, click on '+New List...' and click on Next.
4. Choose any name for your list and make it private, so any cannot see your list.
5. you can check it out in Interests menu.
