Sony PlayStation 4 officially launched : specifications, features

Sony officially launched its new gaming console PlayStation 4 that can change your gaming experience with lots of new feature. An event organized in New York for launching new console.

“Today marks a moment of truth and a bold step forward for PlayStation”, said Andrew House, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment.

After about 7 years, Sony Computer Entertainment launched its new console, which is far better then any gaming console present at this time. Console is available in market for year end Holiday 2013, company did not disclose price immediately. Some of the best features of PlayStation are,

1.  The new console has eight-core X86 AMD "Jaguar" processors that can perform more task.
2.  The device also has a 8 GB of fast Graphic DDR5 memory. Console uses hard-drive for storing data but not SSD which is used in earlier PlayStation consoles, hard-disk size is not yet specified.
3. You can download games directly to your console drive from Internet or can play game online. Console can download games in background even if it is power off.
4. If you bored on your console with games, you can try to create 3-D animation with it. 

 
 
     5.  You can upload your videos while playing games, as well share it in real-time on social networks.
     6.  Sony purchased US based cloud gaming company Gaikai in July, using Gaikai, the console will offer cloud gaming service.
     7.  It can stream game content from the console to Sony's handheld PlayStation Vita with the help of "Remote Play". It also include feature to play games with your friends virtually by real-time connectivity.
     8.  Pressing 'ON' button will bring you directly to the Home Screen, means it does not need boot up time.

 

    9.  The PS4 DualShock 4 controller is just like a classic PlayStation controller, but it also has a touchpad across its face, and a PlayStation Move-like light bar across its top. DualShock 4 also feature a 'share' button next to the triggers and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

These features are revealed in a event organized at New York by Sony Computer Entertainment for launching its gaming console PlayStation 4 but company does not disclose its price or detailed specification of the console.
